Venture For America
I was invited to (and did) join the entrepreneur board of the shiny new Venture for America, “A program for young, talented grads to spend 2 years in the trenches of a start-up with the goal that these graduates will become socialized and mobilized as entrepreneurs moving forward.” They’re currently looking for their first round of fellows who will receive training and support to create businesses in lower cost cities that need job creation like, oh, say, Detroit.
It’s been a pleasure getting to know founder Andrew Yang, who was introduced to us by LOVELAND’s angel Bernie Sucher. Great people involved here. If you know someone who’d be interested in joining a program like this, pass it on!
