How Big Can You Make An Inch? Mary & I At TEDinchDetroit, err, TEDxDetroit

Mary and I gave a talk called “How Big Can You Make An Inch?” at the 2010 TEDxDetroit conference, held September 29th at the Detroit Institute of the Arts. The video just came online. It sweeps from the early origins of LOVELAND through to the beginning of the Imagination Station, from being alone with a bunch of tape on the floor and no land or website to leveling up and discovering how what we’re working on can become much much bigger than an inch. It also puts out a call for more internet inchrepreneurs, err, entrepreneurs to open up shop in Detroit, work on hard and interesting problems surrounded by unique inspirations, and put the Motor City back on the global network.
